The World We Live In Series

The World We Live In series is the most challenging to write and it’s because I write about 19 characters. So imagine trying to develop story lines for every character all while addressing societal issues that they’re dealing with. I address a lot of societal issues that are going on everyday and we tend to sweep it under the rug too much.
Rape, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, molestation, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, depression, and many other subjects. I wanted to have different age groups, genders and switching it between men and women to keep the book exciting. I felt that it was best to do it this way so there isn’t a specific focus on certain age groups or genders.

These books are very emotional to write and the way I write them is stepping into their shoes and envisioning what they would be feeling and going through. It’s about putting yourself there and fully understanding their struggles they’re experiencing. Sometimes I have to stop and collect my thoughts and it gets emotional. Certain characters affect me in more ways than one and it’s making sure that you’re developing a great story line to them.

All of the characters are dealing with struggles in their own way. These books take the longest to write because it’s about writing fictional content that does happen in real life. The goal is to make these characters relate to everyone and that there’s at least one that will resonate with you and you understand their struggles.

These books pack a punch full of emotions and feelings that people go through on a regular basis. While I’ve published the first 3 books of the series, the remaining 2 books of the series will be published in February 2019 with Part 4 releasing one week and the ending of the series Part 5 releasing a week after.

Parts 1-3 are available on all major bookstores (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iTunes, Kobo, and Scribd).
